舞踏家中嶋夏は、昨年3月3日、仕事で訪れていたメキシコの地で帰らぬ人となりました。
没後1年を迎え、生前お世話になった方々と共に、故人を偲ぶ時間をもちたいと思います。
この機会に、中嶋が2024年2月、メキシコで踊った最後の舞台の映像を本邦初公開する他、中嶋の初期の作品の上映を行います。
会場では、本会のために制作する記念冊子をお求めいただけます。幾十年の活動の中で残された中嶋の舞台写真や文章、
また生前交流があった方々から中嶋に向けられた文章を集めた冊子となります。
加えて、会場では中嶋の舞台写真や衣装の展示の他、「心と身体の学級」に関連する展示も行います。

午前の部：「庭」(1983年、ロンドン公演)上映、歓談
午後の部：「消えつつうまれつつあるもの」(2024年、メキシコ公演)、歓談

「中嶋夏を偲ぶ会」実行委員会
Natsu Nakajima passed away on March 3rd last year while visiting Mexico for stage work.
In the occasion of first anniversary of her death, we are pleased to announce that a memorial evet in Tokyo will be held with those who have supported her during her lifetime.
In this occasion, we are pleased to show, for the first time in Japan, a video of Natsu's last dance in Mexico in February 2024, as well as her first performance abroad in 1983 in London. In addition, a booklet especially for this event will be published. It will include photos and writings of Natsu including her stage works and other activities over the decades, as well as writings dedicated to Natsu from those who interacted with her during her lifetime. Moreover, there will be a small corner with pictures of her stage work as well as her costumes and the activities related to her community dance class.

【訃報】
中嶋 夏（享年80歳）
舞踏家・中嶋夏は、2024年メキシコ時間3月3日（日本時間3月4日）逝去いたしました。
謹んでお知らせ申し上げますと共に、冥福をお祈り申し上げます。
中嶋夏はメキシコ自治大学文化センターの招きにより、2024年1月末からメキシコに渡り、
約1ヶ月間メキシコ各地を旅しながら、舞踏に関するレクチャー、デモンストレーション、ワークショップを精力的に行っておりました。
全ての仕事を無事に終え、帰国の途につく2月25日、メキシコシティで不調を訴えて入院し、以降、現地において治療が尽くされ、今回のプロジェクトのコーディネーター、旅に随行したアシスタントに終始見守られておりましたが、メキシコ時間3月3日朝、愛するメキシコの地で安らかに永眠いたしました。

[Obituary]
Natsu Nakajima (1943-2024)
Natsu Nakajima passed away on March 3rd in 2024 at age 80.
We pray that she rests in peace.
Natsu Nakajima was invited by the cultural center of UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) and has been staying in Mexico since the end of January 2024. For about a month, she traveled all over Mexico, giving lectures, demonstrations, and workshops on BUTOH.
She finished all her work successfully on February 25th, she complained of unwellness and was hospitalized in Mexico City. That day was the day she was scheduled to leave to return to Japan.
Then she underwent medical treatment. The project coordinator and her assistant took care of her.
She passed away peacefully on the morning of March 3rd, in Mexican time, in her beloved Mexico.
We will inform you about the schedule later on this page.
We would like to express our deep gratitude for your love and kindness to the deceased during her lifetime.
