【訃報】

中嶋 夏（享年80歳）

舞踏家・中嶋夏は、2024年メキシコ時間3月3日（日本時間3月4日）逝去いたしました。

謹んでお知らせ申し上げますと共に、冥福をお祈り申し上げます。

中嶋夏はメキシコ自治大学文化センターの招きにより、2024年1月末からメキシコに渡り、

約1ヶ月間メキシコ各地を旅しながら、舞踏に関するレクチャー、デモンストレーション、ワークショップを精力的に行っておりました。

全ての仕事を無事に終え、帰国の途につく2月25日、メキシコシティで不調を訴えて入院し、以降、現地において治療が尽くされ、今回のプロジェクトのコーディネーター、旅に随行したアシスタントに終始見守られておりましたが、メキシコ時間3月3日朝、愛するメキシコの地で安らかに永眠いたしました。

Natsu Nakajima (1943-2024)

​

Natsu Nakajima passed away on March 3rd in 2024 at age 80.

We pray that she rests in peace.

Natsu Nakajima was invited by the cultural center of UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) and has been staying in Mexico since the end of January 2024. For about a month, she traveled all over Mexico, giving lectures, demonstrations, and workshops on BUTOH.

She finished all her work successfully on February 25th, she complained of unwellness and was hospitalized in Mexico City. That day was the day she was scheduled to leave to return to Japan.

Then she underwent medical treatment. The project coordinator and her assistant took care of her.

She passed away peacefully on the morning of March 3rd, in Mexican time, in her beloved Mexico.
